Paws and Spell is an online reading game that incorporates phonics and phonemic awareness into one high-impact, no-prep activity. Paws and Spell asks students to complete what are commonly called “word chains” or “word ladders.” Students drag letter tiles to change one sound in a given word to make a new word.
