Decodable Passages with VCCV and VCCCV Syllable Division Patterns
These one-page decodable passages include VCCV and VCCCV syllable division patterns. They are a supplement to the popular printable syllable division activity. Each decodable text passage is accompanied by a fill-in-the-blanks worksheet and a quick comprehension quiz. The multisyllabic words in this phonics resource include basic words that follow the VCCV pattern as well as words that either follow the VCCV or VCCCV pattern and have consonant blends.

However, these games can be used in any classroom and even at home! The games can be used with regularly-spelled words, high-frequency words, and even content-area vocabulary words.
