This bundle, aligned with Wilson Reading System Step 1, provides all the homework, independent work, worksheets, and sub plan materials you need! Activities include scrambled decodable sentences for each substep, sentence level worksheets for each substep, roll & read games, worksheets to practice the high frequency words, extra worksheets and slides for suffixes s and es, and comprehension questions for the controlled text passages in Part 9 of your WRS lessons.

2. Scrambled Decodable Sentences: These scrambled decodable sentences will add some variety to your WRS lessons. Includes scrambled sentences that the teacher will cut up before giving to the students, as well as no-prep worksheet versions where students unscramble each sentence and write it on the line. Includes 50 student worksheets 191 sentences to cut!
3. High Frequency Word Activities: These worksheets and games offer extra practice with the Step 1 high frequency words through 6 different activities. Assign them for homework, leave them with your sub plans, or use them as independent work during your WRS group lessons. Includes 96 student pages.
4. Comprehension Questions for Part 9: Save planning time with these no-prep comprehension questions made to accompany Part 9 Controlled Text Passage Reading in the 4th edition of the Wilson Reading System. This set includes 6 questions for each of the 27 stories in WRS Step 1 Student Readers. You can orally assess or you can leave the worksheets with a substitute teacher or assign them for independent work!
5. Suffix -s and -es Sorts: Practice reading and spelling words with suffix s and es with these worksheets and Google Slides™️. Your students will complete 3 different sorts that help them understand when to use each suffix s or es, the sounds each suffix represents, and how they change the base word.
